Met Gala 2019 Favorites

The first Monday of May every year is the day the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art takes place. Celebrities from around the world flock to New York City to attend this star-studded annual event. This year’s theme is “Camp: Notes of Fashion” which is also the newest exhibit inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Susan Sontag’s 1964 “Notes on ‘Camp’” is explained to be, “how the elements of irony, humor, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality, and exaggeration are expressed in fashion.”
