Miss Eco International was founded in 2015 in the African country of Egypt. The competition brings girls from every corner of the planet together to promote tourism around the world and to spread the message of protecting the environment. Even though the organization was founded just four years ago, it already has made its mark. The winner of Miss Eco International not only gets to travel the world working with causes near and dear to her heart, but she also becomes an environmental goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.
Past Titleholders:
2015 – Patricia Peklar from Slovenia
2016 – Natalia Carvajal from Costa Rica
2017 – Amber Bernachi from Canada
The ladies will arrive in Cairo, Egypt this March which will officially begin the Miss Eco International competition. They will stay and travel all over Egypt, experiencing the culture and learning about this magnificent country’s history. In addition to traveling across Egypt and learning about the country, there will be a press conference, beach wear competition, national costume competition, fitness competition, sport activities, photoshoots, rehearsals, and fun-filled days and nights (game night, karaoke, water park, etc.). The girls are not here just to win the crown; they are going on this crazy adventure to create lifelong friends and soak in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Miss Eco International 2018 Cynthia Thomalla (Philippines), will crown her successor on March 29th. The final night is set to be held at the Teatro Al Asema which is a part of the Almasa Capital in Cairo, Egypt. The coronation night hosts are said to be James Daekin and Natalia Carvajal – Miss Eco Universe (Universe was the original name before it changed to International) 2016. The first ever Miss Eco queen, Patricia Peklar, is expected to be in attendance. The only other Eco winner, Amber Bernachi, has not given a statement about whether or not she will be in attendance.

I apologize if I did miss a country or nation that is competing this year. It was a little difficult to figure out which areas of the world are competing in this edition of the pageant since not all of them are uploaded to the Miss Eco International website at this moment. However, I was able to find the countries, nations, and republics after doing a deep dive through social media.
Good luck to all the girls competing in Miss Eco International! Remember, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so make the most out of this experience! Enjoy Egypt, and I can’t wait to follow your journeys’.
