Binibining Pilipinas 2021 Final Hot Picks

July 10, 2021

The most prestigious pageant in the Philippines is finally here! In a matter of hours, the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 queens will be crowned. My final picks for Bb. Pilipinas is based upon the performance of each of ladies throughout the duration of the pageant as well as who the ladies are as a person and past pageant experiences. Without further ado, lets get into my Binibining Pilipinas 2021 Final Hot Picks.

Bb. Pilipinas International 2021: Bb. 10 Maureen Montagne from Batangas

I have a very hard time seeing this pageant veteran walking away from the coronation night without a crown. Why? Well, Maureen’s extensive pageant history speaks for itself: Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013 1st runner-up, Miss Arizona USA 2015, top 15 at Miss USA 2015, Miss World America 2017 1st runner-up, Miss Eco Philippines 2018, and Miss Eco International 2019 1st runner-up. With that being said, Maureen knows what she is doing. She knows how to present herself in a way that impresses the judges and everyone watching her. Therefore, I am placing Maureen as our new Bb. Pilipinas International.

Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2021: Bb. 14 Justine Felizarta from Padada, Davao del Sur

Justine Felizarta is licensed medical aesthetician who grew up in the Philippines and Canada. Justine screams MGI to me. She is well-spoken, has a sultry, captivating beauty, and her stage performance is top-notch. On top of all of that, she is relatable, which plays into her favor when it comes to scores. I would love, and not be surprised, to see Justine on the Miss Grand International stage.

Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021: Bb. 15 Karen Laurrie Mendoza from Iloilo City

There is not a doubt in my mind that Karen will place high at Bb. Pilipinas 2021 given her likability and regal grace. Will Karen capture a crown? Due to her great speaking skills, I think it will push her into the top 4, which means that she will get a crown.

Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2021: Bb. 19 Gabrielle Camille Basiano from Borongan, Eastern Samar

This fierce beauty is someone not to reckon with. Gabrielle is up and down on people’s leaderboards, but I think her performance will surpass some strong contenders to get her a crown. Gabrielle placed as 1st runner-up at Miss Friendship International 2019, so her high placement just shows you that she is one who can rise to the top.

1st runner-up: Bb. 17 Hannah Arnold from Masbate

I know there are going to be people who disagree with me on this one, but the only thing holding me back from placing Hannah higher on the list is her Q&A performance at Binibining Pilipinas 2019. Her answer was not very strong and that is what held her back from getting a crown. Hannah has had a strong performance throughout the duration of Bb. Pilipinas 2021, including speaking, but I am not sure if the lights on the final night will make her not perform her best. If the lights do not hinder her performance, Hannah will get a crown.

2nd runner-up: Bb. 25 Honey Cartasano from Rizal

The edgy, beautiful Honey is so close to capturing a crown, but I do not know if she will get there. The Binibini pack this year is strong across the board. Therefore, scores are going to be tight and the slightest hiccups will cost someone a title. Due to the strength of all of the contestants, I am leaning towards Honey placing as a runner-up or possibly capturing the Bb. Pilipinas Globe title.
