This post is not about who I predict will win the crowns, but more about who stands out the most based on what I have seen through social media and videos released by the Miss Earth Venezuela/Miss Supranational Venezuela Organization. There are girls who I think have a very strong possibility of winning the crowns but are not included in this post because they have not stood out the most to me based on what I have seen. Here are my Top 5 standouts.

Miss Earth Táchira – María Laura López Rueda

Miss Táchira is more than likely going to get a crown; I will be surprised if she doesn’t (unless if she does not perform well at the finals). María is well spoken, articulate, speaks with conviction, intelligent, beautiful, and confident. During the “private” interview with the jury (you can find it on Miss Earth Venezuela’s YouTube Channel), María stood up and presented her outfit to the jury. María did this because her outfit was inspired by different cultures, particularly cultures throughout Asia, due to Miss Earth being a global platform where people from different cultures come together. If María is crowned Miss Earth Venezuela or Miss Supranational Venezuela, I have no doubt she will be one of the front runners.

Miss Earth Cojedes – Dianny Isabel Burrofatto Rodríguez

I can definitely see Miss Cojedes heading to Miss Supranational. Some of the key aspects of winning Miss Supranational are beauty, personality, confidence, and having something special that makes you stand out and she has all of those qualities. Her sense of humor and realness will make her a stand out in the judges’ and audiences’ eyes. Her sense of humor is what made the jury start clapping their hands with laughter which is what, I’m guessing, made the jury like her. Just because her sense of humor made the jury laugh and she talks as if she is talking to her best friend does not completely shine away from the fact that she can communicate with power and conviction as well as be serious when the topics change to something not so lighthearted.

Miss Earth Canaima – Roxelis Beatriz Mendoza López

During the private interview, Miss Canaima carried herself like a queen, with poise and grace, and gave articulate answers to the jury. When someone is so put together it can make people feel intimidated, but Roxelis just makes you feel warm and welcomed which can be important qualities to possess. As a beauty queen, you have to be able to be professional when interacting with the media while also being warmhearted and welcoming with children and with the elderly; Roxelis has all of these qualities and more.

Miss Earth Distrito Capital – Ivana Rafaela Rodriguez Diab

Whenever you listen to Ivana speak you can tell that she is speaking from the heart. It does not come off rehearsed which makes you want to talk to her more. It is common for pageant girls, and people who are preparing for a speech or presentation, to come off rehearsed with their answers making you, the audience, not as likely wanting to listen. With Ivana, you can tell that she does her homework and is overall well educated, but when she speaks she does not speak as if she is reciting lines; Ivana stays in the moment and gives you a well-thought-out answer right then and there. This can make her go far in the competition.

Miss Earth Miranda – Stephany Carina Zreik Torres

Even though there are no English subtitles for Miss Miranda’s private interview with the jury, I was able to pick up on how well she speaks. She speaks with fluency and believes what she is saying. You can see it in her eyes that she truly means what she is saying and noticing this in someone is exactly what you want to see when competing in a cause driven pageant. You want a queen who means what she says and can act on those words to make a change.
