The Miss Universe Canada 2019 pageant is taking place tomorrow – Saturday, August 17, 2019 – at the Toronto Centre for the Arts at 8pm ET/ 7pm CT. The winner of the pageant will go on and represent Canada at Miss Universe 2019. If the crowning set up is just like last year, the 1st runner up will go to Miss International 2019 and the 2nd runner up will go to Miss Eco International 2020. Canada has placed in the Top 15 at Miss Universe for the past three years as well as placed at Miss Eco International 2019 and won Miss Eco International 2017. Hopefully, not only the girls who win the Universe and Eco titles will continue the placements at the international competitions, but Canada will finally place at Miss International. The last time Canada placed in the semifinals at Miss International was back in 2016 with Amber Bernachi who ended up winning the title of Miss Eco International 2017 the following year.
